ABOUT THE COURSE
This course aims to identify patients at risk of frailty and to consider the best course of management.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
- To understand what frailty is and what it looks like
- To consider the effects of frailty on patients in the hospice, hospital, and community settings
- To be aware of the assessment process of frailty, including the electronic frailty index and Rockwood clinical frailty score
- To consider case studies and how we can best support patients with frailty
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This course is aimed at clinical professionals involved with patients over the age of 18, who may have received a diagnosis of frailty, or may require an assessment of frailty.
